ESP and the Community
The Paranormal Community
East of Scotland Paranormal is proud to work alongside other members of the paranormal community in helping to broaden this area of research and provide a solid network of contacts throughout this expanding area of science. Since its establishment in 2007, East of Scotland Paranormal has aimed to provide reliable and resourceful information under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivative Works 2.5 UK: Scotland Licence.
East of Scotland Paranormal are dedicated to working with members of our community with the intention of moving this field of research from one that has been viewed with much controversy in the past to one which provides essential research into the world that we live in. We believe in moving paranormal research forward through innovative thinking and exploratory work. The paranormal community provides a wealth of knowledge and information to help this goal become a reality. We currently work with International Paranormal Investigators, an impartial community of paranormal researchers worldwide who are dedicated to bringing together knowledge and resources. We are also part of the TAPS Family, a worldwide organization of paranormal research groups. East of Scotland Paranormal is part of the international network for Scotland, joining with our family members West of Scotland Paranormal Research and Scottish Paranormal. We believe that in working together and sharing resources we can benefit the community as a whole through a combined effort to explore and analyse paranormal phenomena.
The Local Community
East of Scotland Paranormal is also keen to involve the general public in our research. In doing so we have found that the ideas and thoughts generated by an outside viewpoint have contributed substantially to moving forward as a team. We provide online facilities for the general public to further their knowledge as well as providing interactive online activities for the public to get involved with the team and ongoing projects. East of Scotland Paranormal are also enthusiastic to share our knowledge and experiences with the general public and regularly hold talks to a number of different audiences. We are keen to not only discuss the paranormal nature of our work but also relate the heritage and history associated with the locations we investigate and the paranormal field. In working with the public we hope to educate the community, providing information, debate and reliability.
