Interested in becoming a member East of Scotland Paranormal?
East of Scotland Paranormal aims to keep the number of members within the team quite low in order to enhance our findings and provide a close working environment. We do, however, look for new members from time to time to bring in fresh ideas and help us to move our research forward. Please have a read through the following details before submitting the form below, so that you have an idea of the sort of members we look for and if we will potentially be a suitable team for you to work with as well.
Honesty and reliability are the key attributes we look for in any team member. Working in a paranormal research team requires that everyone is able to get along and trust each other completely. As soon as there is any suspision of mis-trust it is very difficult to gaurantee honest and reliable information, which goes against the teams ethos. You will also be required to attend a weekly meeting, which usually takes place in the evenings in order to ensure the best possible convenience for all of our working members. On top of attending meetings ESP also requires that all team members contribute fairly to the running and maintainance of the group, so members will be asked to take on a role to help push the group forward. ESP believes in running a fair and equal team and it is encouraged that every team member contributes their share in order for this to work.
East of Scotland Paranormal is interested in researching new and innovative ways to explore the paranormal field. We are therefore not a team that uses spiritual or religous practises on our investigations. We are of course more than happy to invite members in who have personal beliefs but we do not use religious practises on our investigations. Personal experiences are not recorded as proof of paranormal experiences, neither will they be included in our reports or videos, and we ask that people consider this before applying.
We do not require that members have any prior experience in the field of paranormal research or that they have any paticular belief of what the paranormal is. All we ask is that you are able to contribute enthusiasm and time to the groups efforts. We also require people who are able to work well as a team and who have a positive and forward looking attitude. With this in mind please do not assume that we require you to be a "certain type of person" and please do answer the questions on the application form below honestly.
Your application form will be sent on to our Team Manager, Co-ordiator and Liaison, Rachael Hayward, who will review your application form. You will then be informed if there is a requirement for members within the team at this time. If potential members are being considered your application will then progress to be reviewed by the rest of the team and you will be informed of your applications progress. During this period you may be asked to attend a meeting in order to discuss your application further.
East of Scotland Paranormal receives a number of requests to join the team. If it is the case that we cannot take on any more members at this time we will keep your application on record for review at a later date.
Please contact Rachael at rachael@esparanormal.org.uk if you have any questions about the application process.
The very best of luck to you!
